Korea's current account balance continued a surplus rally for the 20th straight month in September. The surplus stood at USS$6.57 billion, up from US$5.68 billion posted in August, and was also higher than US$5.91 billion recorded in September last year. The cumulative surplus reached US$48.79 billion in January-September, almost double the US$28.31 billion tallied in the same period in 2012.
